Our Mission

So, who are we?

We’re Toby (the hubby) and Bee (the wifey), also known as Queen Bee or Lady Bee, depending on who you ask.

That’s a story for another day, though!

We met in the beautiful Emerald Isle of Ireland many moons ago, and now we proudly juggle the delightful chaos of parenting three awesome kiddos.

We’re a blend of fun, family-oriented, easy-going vibes, a touch of health consciousness (okay, maybe we’re stretching it a bit there), and our faith is also an important part of our lives.

Life has certainly thrown us its fair share of curveballs.

from corporate layoffs to navigating business closures during the lockdown. But hey, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right? These experiences not only taught us to be budget-savvy but also showed us how to live incredibly fulfilling and fun lives without breaking the bank.

As health enthusiasts, we hope to inspire other families who wish to prioritize their health and wellness, travel more, and shop smart but haven’t been able to do so due to financial constraints or a lack of motivation to see that it is indeed possible.

Now, don’t get the wrong idea. When we say “shopping,” you might picture us living the high life. Sure, we wouldn’t turn down a taste of luxury, but that’s not exactly what we’re talking about.

We love finding great deals.

Call it thrifty, call it frugal, call it bargain-hunting, call it savvy —we call it being smart with our money.

We’d rather have it in our pockets than line the wallets of corporations, right?
Unless you’re part of that exclusive 1%-1.1% living the ultimate luxury life, in which case,
major high fives to you!

For the rest of us mere mortals, the cost of living has skyrocketed, so we have to find clever ways to still shop and feel good about ourselves.

Being healthy is a priority for us.

After all, health is wealth, right? We were steadily making progress, climbing that peak fitness ladder, when lockdown happened. For two years, our fitness journey took a backseat. We lost family and friends who were very close to us. But now, post-COVID, we’re starting all over again, and even though it stinks to do so, we want you to join us on this exciting adventure!

And because we know not everyone can afford it, we’ll be sharing Wellness tips from fitness and nutrition experts that won’t break the bank because who said you need fancy yoga classes to find your zen or expensive gym memberships to get that summertime beach bod?

Speaking of summer bod, we love traveling as a family, and exploring new places, all while keeping it budget-friendly. So we’ll share some little tips and tricks for traveling we’ve learned along the way.
